Hi, I’m Kei

(rhymes with ‘hi’)

… or in full, Kei-Ella Loewe.

I am a South African illustrator based in The Netherlands.

I started teaching myself how to draw digitally in 2021, during the second year of the Covid pandemic. I work using Procreate.

I tend to work in two art-styles; a more realistic style mainly used for more adult-themed projects and a linework-based, more illustrative/storytelling style that leans more towards projects for younger viewers.

But in concept and tone, my illustrations tend to be dreamy, colourful, feminine and sometimes a bit unnerving.
